Porsche 986 Brembo Caliper Conversion for Honda Civic/ CRX/Hatch Big Brake Kit

This kit has been redesigned and now uses Stainless steel studs and flanged nuts instead of standard bolts for improved thread engagement as well as clamping force. Another huge benefit of studs over standard bolts is the ease of installation, just install studs then slide the caliper into place! Makes rotor changes a fast and easy process.

This caliper mounting kit is used to install Porsche 986 Boxster calipers onto 4 lug 1988-2000 Civic/ CRX models that came factory with 9.5 front rotors. If your car has the 10.3in front rotors please see my other listings.

These caliper brackets are machined out of 6061 aluminum and manufactured in house.

This kit will fit most 15 inch wheels!

This kit includes all mounting brackets and hardware, brake line banjo bolts (can be used with factory brake lines). Depending on your rotor, you may need rotor centering rings so be sure to add those to your order if needed. You can confirm this if your lug stud holes in your rotor are 16mm+. (See images)

Calipers pictured are NOT included 

Be sure NOT to use thread locker on the studs, treat them as you would head studs in an engine and simply use either ARP lube or copper anti seize. When tightening the studs do not over tighten them, you can use two of the nuts included in the kit and snug them down with a wrench. (See last photo)

Torque specs;

Knuckle bolts: 75 Foot pounds

Caliper nuts: 60 Foot pounds

Not included and required:

- 986 Porsche Boxster base model calipers with pads. Casting/part numbers 986.351.422 and 986.351.421. Make sure these are the FRONT calipers, the rears are near identical but will not work.
